Don’t be shy, go out there and flex for me. Here’s some three-wheeler action at the Tohru Tuning Center:

Don’t worry, I put a jack stand under it before going underneath. Only way to change the leaky heater core is to remove the heater hoses from below. Bastard bit me. Nobody makes me bleed my own blood.

(In case it’s not obvious - new on left, old on right. Heater cores are upside-down relative to position installed in car.)

The mess of wires and relays on the right is for the aftermarket remote keyless entry.

It has heat now. It’s still intermittently running like it’s on 3 cylinders, though. We’ve ruled out bad fuel, clogged fuel filter, worn plugs, bad coil packs, and a bad ignition module. It’s been left at dad’s shop for diagnostics. Only plausible ideas right now are a bad injector or a bent intake pushrod.

Since it’s parked, I’m back to driving the Bonnie. Got two people planning to check out the TohruTruck Mk3 tonight. I’m running on pocket change at this point - the first offer of a grand or more and it has a new home. Wish me luck!

Man I wish I had one of my Fiesta when we jack it up. It has stock Fiesta suspension travel but is lowered by an inch so you really have to turn up a wheel to get it off the ground....
